Spicy-sour soup with an egg and pepper stadium: the stage of tension and exclusion.

A spicy-sour tomato soup with a stadium shape in the center, built from halved hard-boiled eggs as stands and thin green bell pepper strips as entrances. The stadium symbolizes the concerts and Macklemore's exclusion. Sharp, tense, with a sour undertone.

Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 1 kg ripe tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. Finely chop the onions and garlic. Slice the red chili peppers into rings.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot. Sauté onion, garlic, and chili until soft.
  3. Chop the tomatoes and red bell pepper. Add to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add tomato paste and cook briefly. Pour in the broth. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, hard-boil the eggs (10 minutes), cool in cold water, peel, and halve lengthwise.
  6. Blend the soup until smooth. Season with vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cut the green bell pepper into thin rings or strips.
  8. Pour the soup into deep plates. Arrange halved eggs in an oval shape in the center as stadium stands. Use green pepper to make an entrance on one side.
  9. Serve immediately.

Serving notes

  • Sprinkle extra red chili for added tension.
  • Serve with crunchy bread for a true stadium experience.
